NEW ARRIVAL The J-29 is a compelling alternative for any player who loves the slope-shoulder style, but prefers the stronger projection of Rosewood, a Gibson to rival the Martin D-28. Featuring a Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany neck, it’s the Rosewood back and sides that mean it sits in an interesting place tonally, so you get a lot of the lower resonance with a bit more bite and high end presence. It has amazing headroom: it can be a very loud guitar if you want it to be - you can positively hammer the thing with a flatpick without generating confused harmonics. You get projection and raw horsepower that rivals any dread. As a two year old guitar it’s beginning to really open up, and is only going to get better. It’s in excellent condition with a very comfortable action. The guitar comes in it's original hard case.
