NEW ARRIVAL Only 488 Gibson Everly Brothers guitars were made between 1962 and 1971, so this is a very rare guitar indeed - a real collectors piece and a great playing and sounding guitar, in very good, all original condition. The Everly model is one of the most iconic of all the Gibson models, the double pickguard and star inlays make it instantly recognisable, and the string through bridge with adjustable saddle just add to it's uniqueness. It's a 16" wide jumbo and has a Spruce top, which has turned a beautiful butterscotch colour, with Maple back and sides stained Walnut, this gives the guitar a big resonant sound, great for strumming but equally at home with fingerstyle. The guitar has no cracks or repairs, just the kind of dings and signs of playwear you’d expect from a guitar of this age - plus lots of cool looking lacquer checking. It has a K and K underside pickup fitted, and comes in it's original hard case.
