NEW ARRIVAL The Gibson John Lennon J-160E Peace Acoustic-Electric Guitar is replica of Lennon's 1962 J-160E, which he used extensively in films and recordings. The reissue features an antique natural finish, laminated spruce top, ladder-top bracing, a P-90 pickup, authentic wood body binding, and a signature truss rod cover. It perfectly re-creates Lennon's Gibson guitar as it appeared during 1969's Bed-In after stripping off the psychedelic paint job he commissioned in 1967. It's historically accurate right down to the strap based on the one John used. The original Gibson guitar is now displayed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and this re-creation is one of a limited, numbered edition of 750, with a Certificate of Authenticity from Gibson. The guitar is in excellent condition, with the kind of light playwear you’d expect for a 12 year old instrument. It comes with it’s certificate, and a reproduction John Lennon strap, in it’s original Gibson embossed hard case.
