NEW ARRIVAL With 60’s Doves fetching big money, a 70’s Dove is a more affordable way of getting one of Gibson’s flagship models. Visually the guitar is striking with the unique engraved pickguard and bridge, and well as the deluxe touches such as split parallelogram inlays, crown headstock and multiple binding. It features a Spruce top which has turned a lovely honey colour, and Maple back and sides stained a vibrant cherry colour, which produce sparkling mids and trebles with warm bass and huge sustain. The guitar plays very easily, and quickly conjures up a very familiar Gibson sound. For a 43 year old guitar it's in good, well played condition, has one repaired pickguard crack, a couple of cracks in the pickguard itself, and a few wear patches that have worn through the lacquer finish. It comes in a non original hard case.
