NEW ARRIVAL Late 40's 0018's are pretty difficult to find, and this example is excellent - one of the most surprising guitars I've played in quite a while. It works very well with fingerstyle play, well balanced and articulate, but also for strumming where the Mahogany adds warmth and depth that you may not associate with a smaller bodied guitar, and when soloing the smoothness of single notes is very impressive. Clearly the guitar has been played hard all it's life, and has only benefited from this - the tone is deeper and richer than many equivalent guitars I've played. The playing experience is very enjoyably too, the neck feels very comfortable, the fingerboard really responsive, and the action just right. There are several back crack repairs, plus the guitar once had two pick guards fitted, the traces of which are just visible. It comes in a non original hard case.
