NEW ARRIVALGuild’s Westerly collection harks back to the company’s great history of guitars built during the 60’s in their Westerly factory in Rhode Island. Made from all solid woods, it features a Sitka Spruce top with African Mahogany back and sides, there’s an Indian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, open back butterbean tuners, and a period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard. As a concert size guitar the tone is well balanced, and the combination of woods give a bright sound, with quite a rich bass response, clear mids and punchy trebles. The high gloss finish give the guitar a really substantial feel, the neck is comfortable and the action is good. The guitar has a Fishman Sonitone pickup installed which has tone and volume controls mounted inside the soundhole. As a nearly new guitar, it’s in excellent condition, and comes in it’s original Guild embossed case.
