1934 Regal Model 37 Resonator – £999

NEW ARRIVAL  Based in Chicago in the 1930’s, Regal produced some fantastic resonator guitars, and the Model 37 became probably the most iconic looking of the bunch – one of the coolest Regals I’ve seen. For those who want the bite of a steel resonator, but the versatility of a wood bodied acoustic, this is an ideal solution. As well as it’s stunning good looks it offers a warmer, richer tone than an all steel bodied resonator. Tonally it has grunt and drive when played hard, working well for slide, but can play slow blues beautifully, and has enough twang to please country players. With it’s 00 size, it even works well as a couch guitar. It’s in very good condition for it’s age, with no cracks or repairs, just plenty of playwear, upgraded Kluson tuners, and a very comfortable V profile neck. The guitar even comes in it’s original hard case.
