1972 Martin D-28 S – £3499

NEW ARRIVAL  The Martin D28S was produced between 1954 – 1993 and is still one of the most unusual and eye catching dreadnoughts from the Martin catalogue. A slope shouldered dreadnought with a slotted headstock and 12 frets to the body make it a very different beast to the traditional D28. The 12 fret join on a large body produces a far greater bass response, and a more dynamic guitar altogether. It features a Spruce top with Rosewood back and sides, Ebony fretboard and bridge, and super cool Grover tuners. The neck has a comfortable soft V profile, and the action is very good. The guitar is in good condition for it’s age, with plenty of age related scuffs, and repaired top cracks. It comes in a non original hard case.
