1979 Guild F212 XL – £1499

NEW ARRIVAL  One thing that everyone agrees on is that Guild make superb 12 string acoustics, and this F212 XL is absolute proof. 70’s Guild 12 strings are becoming quite difficult to find these days, I guess people that already have them, keep them. There’s a particular tone associated with them that very few other guitars can get close too. The F212 XL is the classic, bigger bodied model, that Guild are famous for. It has a Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides which, added to the 45 years of play, give warm, lush tones. The guitar’s in all original condition, with a beautiful honey coloured top. As a guitar of this age, it has the kind of playwear you’d expect – light dings and the odd scrape, some buckle rash on the back, and beautiful lacquer checking. The guitar has an undersaddle pickup fitted, and comes in it’s original hard case.
