1990 Larrivee J-09 – £1599

NEW ARRIVAL  Larrivee’s 09 series is a noticeable step up from their other ranges. All the tone woods are hand selected by Jean Larrivee, and the build quality is of the highest standard. This Jumbo model features the classic combination of Spruce top with Rosewood back and sides, plus the high end finish of a bound Ebony fingerboard and Ebony bridge, plus Walnut binding. Tonally it’s fantastic, the Sitka spruce has a wide tonal range with great projection making it hugely versatile, capable of both bright and punchy tones, yet quite complex and able to handle the most subtle of playing styles. The guitar’s in excellent condition, beautifully matured over the last 34 years, and is a dream to play. It has an active LR Baggs pickup fitted, and comes in a non original flight case.
