2002 Martin 000-28 VS

SOLD  Martin’s Vintage Series has attracted great plaudits, and this guitar shows you why. Harking back to Martin’s historical predecessors, this is an 000 size 12 fret guitar with a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. It’s scallop braced, with Herringbone trim, and a slot headstock. It also features an Ebony fretboard and pyramid bridge, plus bone nut and saddle, and Waverley tuners. The guitar has amazing projection and clarity. While it’s great for strumming this guitar really comes into its own when finger picking. The tone is bright and rich with plenty of character however hard or soft you play. It would make the perfect studio guitar, great for close mic-ing, beautifully balanced with great definition. The guitar is in good condition, with a few light dings, an area of pickwear around the soundhole, and some buckle wear on the back. It comes in it’s original deluxe Martin hard case.
