2018 Lowden F35 12 Fret Lutz / Rosewood – £2999

NEW ARRIVAL  The 35 series is Lowden’s top of the range, using higher grade tone woods than on the standard series, and slightly more (although still discreet) wood and Abalone inlays. It’s often an excuse to bring together tone woods not commonly found from other brands. This S35 features a Lutz Spruce top, with Indian Rosewood back and sides, an Ebony fingerboard with Maple binding, Tasmanian Blackwood body binding, Abalone rosette and Gotoh 510 tuners. The first thing that strikes you when you play this guitar is the smooth tone, very articulate and beautifully balanced, with great resonance and clarity – surprising volume and great sustain. It’s a fingerpicker’s dream, but strums surprisingly well for a medium bodied guitar. As with all Lowdens it handles alternate tuning particularly well, the neck is very comfortable and the action just right. The guitar is in excellent condition, has a K and K pickup fitted, and comes in it’s original deluxe Lowden embossed hard case.
