2020 Gibson Southern Jumbo

SOLD  At first glance, the Southern Jumbo looks like a deluxe J45, with it’s bound fingerboard, split parallelogram inlays and open back butterbean tuners. But there’s more to it than that. The guitar has traditional hand scalloped advanced x-style bracing, which pushes the sustain and resonance way beyond what a J45 can do. The tone is still unmistakably Gibson, but the potential to really push the dynamic response is what makes the Southern Jumbo so desirable. It sounds warm, deep, rich and punchy. The guitar is in excellent condition, with classic good looks, and fantastic playability. It has an LR Baggs VTC pickup system fitted with tone and volume controls mounted inside the soundhole, and comes in it’s original embossed hard case.
