2009 Dave King Slope D – £1849

NEW ARRIVAL  This is a fine example of a hand made British guitar of the highest quality – Dave King has become a highly regarded luthier, and his guitars have become very desirable for those ‘in the know’. With a Sitka Spruce top, Honduras Mahogany back and sides, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, and herringbone trim, plus upgraded Gotoh 510 tuners – this guitar looks as beautiful as it sounds. As a copy of the classic slope shouldered dreadnought, it has a big sound, rich and resonant with excellent sustain. The guitar has a deep, warm tone for strumming, with great definition and clarity when fingerpicking. It’s in very good condition – there’s some buckle wear on the back – the neck feels great and the action is very comfortable. The guitar has a Fishman Rare Earth soundhole pickup, and comes in an upgraded flight case.
