2010 Gibson Hummingbird – £2499

NEW ARRIVAL  You shouldn’t buy a guitar based just on it’s looks, but with a Hummingbird you may be forgiven. There’s a reason why it remains one of the most desirable models in Gibson’s illustrious history. This 2010 model looks great, plays great and sounds great. As a Spruce / Mahogany square shoulder dreadnought it has a very full sound. The bass is rich, the mids are full and there’s a sparkle in the trebles. It works really well with strumming, capable of that stadium filling sound – rock, country and Americana – but when fingerpicked it can be subtle and nuanced. The guitar’s in very good condition, with just a few light nicks and dings. It has an active under saddle pickup fitted, and comes in it’s original hard case.
