NEW ARRIVAL This is a stunning example of a 40's Gibson archtop, in a beautiful tobacco sunburst with highly figured Walnut back and sides, in all original condition, just missing a scratchplate. The tone is voiced beautifully for blues, jazz and swing, has a very comfortable neck and a great playing action - even beyond the 12th fret which is unusual on old archtops. The guitar has visible playwear, but it has no cracks or repairs and is structurally sound. As 40's archtops go, this example looks, feels and sounds fantastic. It comes in a non original hard case.
