NEW ARRIVAL I have found over the years that production run Gibson acoustics can be hit and miss.....but the small batch acoustic runs are built by the masters at Gibson Montana and are much more likely to be great guitars. This slope shoulder guitar is an excellent example of the attention to detail these limited runs can produce, and is an accurate recreation of the iconic original, but at a fraction of the price. The Gibson '34 Original Jumbo reissue features an Adirondack Red Spruce top, Honduras Mahogany back and sides, single ply top and back binding, and scalloped top bracing. The Mahogany neck features a Madagascan Rosewood fretboard and a period correct soft V profile, making it comfortable for all players. Couple all that up with a traditional Rosewood rectangle open slot bridge with a bone saddle, bone nut, hot hide glue construction, and a hand applied nitrocellulose finish and you get big, booming lows that sit perfectly in balance with a crystal clear top end. The traditional headstock is adorned with the classic "Gibson" script style logo in Mother of Pearl inlay and vintage Waverley tuners round out the vibe of this faithful recreation. This is a super cool, phenomenal sounding guitar, with great investment potential.......and a real head turner. The guitar is in excellent condition, with a K and K Pure pickup installed, and comes in it's original Gibson embossed hard case.
