NEW ARRIVAL This is a great example of a very hard to find model only made between 1942 and 1962. The LG2 is a 00 size guitar with very desirable X bracing, making the guitar extremely resonant - a surprisingly big sound for a small bodied guitar. It features a Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides which give the guitar a real warmth and depth. It has a great feeling neck - late 40's and early 50's necks are amongst the most desirable - and is a real joy to play. This is a stunning looking example, with Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and the very desirable pre '54 teardrop scratchplate. It's in very good condition for a 62 year old guitar - the tobacco sunburst is still vivid - with one professionally repaired back crack. This is a great example of a vintage guitar, with the kind of feel and character no modern guitar could ever hope to get close to. It comes in it's original hard case.
