1946 Gibson L48
NEW ARRIVAL This is a beautiful example of a 40's Gibson archtop, in a fantastic looking tobacco sunburst, with the very desirable script logo. The tone is voiced beautifully for blues, jazz and swing, has a very comfortable neck - quite chunky - and a great playing action all the way up the neck. It has the kind of playwear you'd expect from a 70 year old guitar, and lots of great looking lacquer checking. The guitar is in great condition, with a repaired back crack. It’s just back from a pro refret, so it plays really well. This guitar looks, feels and sounds fantastic, and has the kind of vintage vibe that is impossible to replicate in a reissue.
