NEW ARRIVAL The Fender Kingman was only produced between 1963 - 71, and is the dreadnought equivalent of the better known Fender Newporter. The quirky vibe of having an electric guitar neck and headstock on an acoustic guitar actually works, the neck feels very comfortable to play, feels balanced, and is really eye catching. The guitar features a Spruce top, with Mahogany back and sides, and is X braced, so the guitar is very resonant with plenty of punch. It's in good condition for a 50 year old guitar, with a beautifully aged top, and some cool lacquer checking. The guitar has a transducer pickup fitted which works very well, and comes in it’s very cool original hard case.
