NEW ARRIVAL Early 70’s Yamahas have become very collectible guitars - their build quality, tone and feel are fantastic. Made in the famous Nippon Gakki factory, the SA-60 is clearly based on a Gibson ES335, but with a twist. The contoured shape of the horns make the guitar really stand out, the fingerboard inlays are classy, the tone and volume knobs are beautifully retro, the bridge saddles are quirky, and the embossed leather inset in the tailpiece is just cool. The tone is where this really shines... it's thick, warm, responsive, resonant, expressive... just fantastic. Playability is very good with a comfortable feeling neck and easy action. The guitar is in excellent condition, very clean but with some great looking lacquer checking. It comes in a brand new fitted hard case.
