NEW ARRIVAL The Guild D50 is considered be the benchmark bluegrass guitar. Tonally it has great depth and resonance in the bass, with plenty of punch and attack in the mids and trebles, overall well balanced with great clarity. Dreadnoughts are considered to be the most versatile acoustic guitars, and this example sounds great strummed or fingerpicked, with great definition and sustain when soloing. Quite simply it's a classic, and at 31 years old it's matured really well. Visually the Spruce top has turned a warm honey colour, and the Indian Rosewood back and sides are dark and well grained. From a playability point of view, this guitar is a treat, the neck has a great feel to it, the Ebony fingerboard is very responsive, and the action is easy. The guitar is in good condition with some great looking lacquer checking, and two top cracks, one of which doesn’t go through, the other has been repaired. The guitar comes in it’s original Guild embossed hard case.
